1. I'm not as versed in the Puritans as I'd like but I am a fan of Thomas Watson. I've not read A Divine Cordial yet, but one section “The Worst Things” has seen me through rough times and the Truth contained therein have kept me grounded firmly in Romans 8:28 through many many many many things.

   When I see him quoted I get excited because that work has been such a tremendous blessing to me.
