Saudi Arabia is the second most dangerous place to live in the world if you are a Christian according to Open Door’s World Watch List for 2009.
That alone makes the Saudi kingdom a pivotal focus for prayer.
This month’s online edition of Global Prayer Digest is devoted to helping believers pray for God to move on the Arabian penninsula.
During this Advent season let us be a people of intercession for the nations with a special focus on this needy country and her peoples.
I spent the summer of 2001 in the United Arab Emirates. While not as high on the persecution list, it is still a dark country that borders Saudi without the hope of the Gospel. It is a beautiful land, rich in gold and other natural resources, but bondage to Islam is prevalent. Yet, the hunger for Truth remains in some. May the Truth set them free!
Thank you for calling us to pray for such a dark part of the world.
I didn’t know that about your journey, young lady. I would LOVE to hear about that some time. I’ll bet a lot of our folks would. Thanks so much for your comment.
