The aim of CCEF is to consider how caring for people’s souls can be increasingly wise and helpful. This is sometimes identified as biblical counseling. We intend this not as a protected trademark but as a body of work to which many contribute. It describes the troubles we face, how those troubles are experienced, how God speaks to us during those troubles, and how we help each other with wisdom and love.
Conflict is challenging and complex. Creative Conciliation helps individuals, couples, families, churches, organizations, and communities locked in relational combat find hope and healing by learning to apply time-tested and biblically-faithful peacemaking principles and practices.
Whether you are a pastor, business leader, family or church member, or spouse you may find yourself in a conflicted relationship or situation and not sure how to proceed or where to turn. Crossroads Resolution Group exists to work alongside churches, groups, organizations, and individuals and help them respond to and resolve conflicted relationships and situations in a biblically faithful manner benefiting those involved and those watching.
Peacemaker Ministries is a non-profit, nondenominational ministry whose mission is to equip and assist Christians and their churches to respond to conflict biblically. We want to partner with people in conflict and help them navigate their conflict and heal their relationships. Peacemaker Ministries’ vision is to equip and assist every Christian and every church in the world to respond to conflict biblically.
At PeacePoint we encourage Christians to restore relationships broken by conflict and equip them to resolve disputes fairly for God’s glory and for their good. We teach biblical principles of Christian Resolution & Reconciliation and make resources available to people and churches facing conflicts and disputes. For those interested in helping others, we provide training, so they can serve as Peace Advocates. When conflicts and disputes arise, we follow a biblically based process to guide those seeking a God honoring resolution in which Peace Advocates provide coaching, mediation and arbitration as needed. We also provide training and administrative support to help church leaders promote and pursue peace in their churches.
Our goal for this blog is to encourage Christians to redeem their churches’ conflicts. We hope to do this in three primary ways: 1) We will expand on the topics included in our book; 2) We will link you to worthwhile articles and resources to help you in your journey of redemption; and 3) As appropriate, we will address questions and topics that you submit to us.
Ken Sande founded the Christian Conciliation Service of Montana in 1982 to mediate and arbitrate legal disputes between Christians. After the publication of his bestselling book, The Peacemaker, which has sold over 500,000 copies in 20+ languages, this ministry grew into a global organization that was eventually renamed the “Institute for Christian Conciliation” and later “Peacemaker Ministries.” In 2012, Ken launched Relational Wisdom 360 (aka, “RW360”) to develop a new generation of training resources that integrate peacemaking, emotional intelligence, coaching and conciliation. These resources are being used to equip people with improved relational skills they can use not only to resolve conflict but also to prevent it from occurring in the first place.Â
